GeekNite is an independent review site founded in 2010 by a small team of passionate gamers, tech enthusiasts, and cyclists based in Barcelona. We specialize in budget-conscious reviews — helping you find the best value without breaking the bank.

Over the years we’ve grown from a hobby blog to a resource with 200+ daily visitors, covering board games, video games, tech, cycling, and more. We buy most products with our own money, and we test them the way you’d use them at home.

Editorial Policy

  • No paid reviews — never have, never will. Brands cannot buy a positive review.
  • We buy our own products — most items reviewed were purchased by the team. When a brand sends a product for review, we disclose it clearly and return it if requested.
  • Honest opinions — our ratings reflect genuine experience. A bad product gets a bad review regardless of affiliate potential.
  • Budget focus — we always consider value for money. A $30 game that delivers 50 hours of fun scores higher than a $100 one that collects dust.

How We Test

  • Board games: minimum 5 plays across different player counts before reviewing
  • Tech & hardware: at least 2 weeks of daily use
  • Video games: campaign completion or 20+ hours for open-world titles
  • Sports & cycling gear: field-tested on actual rides and training sessions
